Beyond Machinery: GAP Café Opens a New Facility

After 37 years of building its history in Vargem Alta, Espírito Santo, Brazil, GAP Café inaugurated a new facility in Cachoeiro de Itapemirim on September 12. The new structure expands the company’s capacity for coffee receiving, storage, grading, and commercialization, while bringing its operations closer to growers across southern Espírito Santo, particularly Conilon coffee producers.

Equipped with advanced machinery, automation, and lot traceability systems, the facility was designed to support the company’s continued growth, preserve coffee quality, and create new opportunities for coffee production in Espírito Santo.

Pinhalense took part in the inauguration, represented by Director Reymar Andrade, Regional Sales Supervisor Rodrigo Del Guerra, and members of the team who have supported the project throughout its development. For Pinhalense, being part of this milestone means celebrating a partnership that has grown alongside GAP Café, transforming expertise into greater capacity, control, and proximity to producers.

During the event, Gelson Antônio Pazini Júnior, who oversees GAP Café’s management, summarized the purpose of the new facility: “We’re bringing the very best: machinery, automation, and lot traceability. We’re bringing quality to Cachoeiro as an extension of our headquarters.”

A facility may be built with equipment, but its true value is reflected in the people, the growers, and the story it helps continue. GAP Café’s new facility was created to grow alongside its partners, and Pinhalense is proud to celebrate this new chapter together.
