30th Internal Workplace Safety Week Reinforces That Safety Is a Choice We Build Every Day

An afternoon of learning, shared experiences, and reflection showed that creating a safer workplace starts with each person’s daily actions.

Safety goes beyond rules and procedures. It is also reflected in the decisions we make every day, in how we recognize risks, and in our commitment to caring for ourselves and those around us.

With this purpose in mind, we held the 30th Internal Workplace Safety Week (SIPAT) under the theme “Taking Risks Off the Map,” bringing together all employees for an afternoon dedicated to learning and strengthening our safety culture.

The program explored the topic from different perspectives, beginning with the “A Prosperous and Safe Life” talk, followed by a session on Risk Perception, highlighting the importance of identifying situations that can be prevented before they become accidents.

The event concluded with the “No Excuses” talk, during which speaker Samuel Bortolin shared his story of resilience, demonstrating that safety is also about attitude, discipline, and commitment to the choices we make every day.

In addition to the presentations, the event included opportunities for interaction, prize draws, and active employee participation, reinforcing that a culture of prevention is built together.

More than an internal event, the 30th SIPAT reaffirmed a commitment that is part of our everyday work: transforming knowledge into action and, together, building an increasingly safer workplace.
